Your first hormone consult: what to expect
A first hormone and longevity visit at Arora MD Longevity & Aesthetics in East Brunswick, NJ starts before you arrive: you book at least two weeks ahead and complete blood work at Quest, Labcorp or another participating lab. You then meet Dr. Mudit Arora himself to go through your symptoms, history and results, and leave with a plan built on your numbers.
Before the visit
After you book, the team sends a lab order. The labs are typically covered by insurance, though coverage varies by plan. Booking two weeks out gives the results time to come back.
The conversation
Dr. Arora asks about more than a single number: how you sleep, your mood and energy, your relationships and how you are performing at work, alongside your history and symptoms. Then he goes through your lab results with you, line by line.
- A full review of symptoms and health history
- Your lab results, reviewed with you
- The options, and what each involves
- A plan for the years ahead, not only today’s symptoms
Cost and booking
A 15-minute consult is complimentary, in person or by phone, and carries no obligation. A full Initial Consultation is a medical visit with a fee, which the team confirms when you book. The booking calendar holds your time with a card; the $50 is only charged for a late cancellation or a missed visit. The practice does not bill insurance for hormone therapy.
