Menopause care that starts with your labs

Arora MD Longevity & Aesthetics in East Brunswick, NJ offers physician-led menopause care with Dr. Mudit Arora, a board-certified internal medicine physician with fellowship training in anti-aging and metabolic medicine. Care begins with blood work completed before your visit, then a plan that may include hormone therapy, nutrition and lifestyle changes, with regular follow-ups to adjust it.
Menopause care
Who it’s for
The first conversation is about you, not a protocol. You may be a good fit if:
- Frequent hot flashes or night sweats
- Trouble sleeping, or tired most of the day
- Mood swings, anxiety or low mood that arrived with perimenopause
- Concerns about bone density or heart health after estrogen declines
- You are considering hormone therapy and want a physician’s view on whether it fits you
Your options
Creams, patches, injections or pellets?
If hormone therapy is right for you, there is more than one way to take it. Which one suits you is decided with Dr. Arora, not before you are seen.
Creams and gels
Applied to the skin.
Oral capsules and patches
Taken by mouth, or worn on the skin.
Injections
Given at set intervals.
Pellets
Placed under the skin and released slowly over several months.
Some patients are candidates for hormone therapy and some are not. Natural alternatives (nutrition, supplements and lifestyle changes) are also offered. Individual results vary.

A plan for you
Hormone therapy where it fits, plus nutrition and lifestyle guidance. Nothing is prescribed before that conversation.
Follow-up
Menopause changes over time, so regular follow-ups keep the plan working and adjust it as you go.

What menopause care covers
Menopause usually arrives between 45 and 55, as the ovaries stop releasing eggs and estrogen and progesterone fall. The shift can show up as hot flashes, night sweats, poor sleep, mood changes and, over time, lower bone density.
The aim is relief from the symptoms you feel now and attention to the long-term risks that come with lower estrogen, including bone and heart health.
Between visits
A few habits help the plan work.
- Keep a short log of symptoms to bring to each visit
- Stay active: exercise supports bone and heart health
- Note any change and raise it at your follow-up
- Make room for sleep and stress relief

Questions
Menopause care: common questions
Do I need lab work before my menopause consult?
Yes, and we arrange it. Book at least two weeks ahead; our team sends a lab order for Quest, Labcorp or another participating lab, typically covered by insurance.
Is hormone replacement therapy part of menopause care?
Often, yes. Dr. Arora reviews your symptoms, history and labs to decide whether hormone therapy suits you as part of a wider plan.
Are there options without hormones?
Yes. Lifestyle changes, nutritional counseling and supplements are offered for women who prefer not to use hormone therapy.
How long does menopause care last?
It varies. Many women start as they approach menopause and continue for several years, with the plan reviewed and adjusted at each follow-up.
How often are follow-up visits?
It depends on your progress and on any changes to your therapy. Follow-ups are how we check the plan is working.
Who is a good candidate?
Any woman whose menopause symptoms get in the way of daily life, typically from the mid-40s to the mid-50s.
