Who it’s for
The first conversation is about you, not a protocol. You may be a good fit if:
- Lips you would like fuller or more defined, without an overdone look
- Cheeks or temples that have hollowed with age
- Under-eye hollows and shadows that make you look tired
- Smile lines or marionette lines
- A softer chin or jawline you would like more defined
Your options
Filler, Botox or the Refresh Lift™?
Filler replaces volume; Botox® relaxes movement. The right choice depends on what is causing the line or hollow.
Hyaluronic acid filler
Adds volume and shape: lips, cheeks, temples, chin, jawline, smile and marionette lines.
Refresh Lift™
The practice’s signature filler technique, treating the under-eyes and cheeks together in one session for a rested look.
Botox® / Dysport®
Softens lines caused by movement, such as forehead lines, 11 lines and crow’s feet.
Filler and Botox® are often combined. Dr. Arora recommends what suits your face at the consultation. Individual results vary.
How it works
What to expect
Consultation
Dr. Arora studies your proportions and asks what you want to change, then plans where and how much filler to place.
Treatment
Filler is placed in small amounts with careful technique. Most appointments take 30 to 60 minutes depending on the areas.
Aftercare
Mild swelling or bruising is common and usually settles within a few days. A cold compress helps.
Follow-up
We check how things have settled and adjust if needed. Filler can be dissolved if you are not satisfied.
Areas we treat
Each area is treated for balance with the rest of the face, not on its own.
- Lips
- Cheeks and temples
- Under-eyes
- Nasolabial (smile) folds and marionette lines
- Chin and jawline
- Forehead lines
- Stretched or thinning earlobes
Preparing and recovering
To lower the chance of bruising, avoid aspirin and ibuprofen for a week where your doctor allows, and alcohol for 24 hours before.
- Expect mild swelling or bruising for a few days
- Skip hard exercise, strong sun and alcohol for 24 to 48 hours
- Use a cold compress if you need it
- Follow the aftercare instructions you are given

Questions
Dermal fillers: common questions
How do hyaluronic acid fillers work?
The filler replaces lost volume under the skin. Hyaluronic acid holds moisture, which gives a plumper, smoother look.
Can filler be dissolved?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if you are not happy with the result.
How long does the appointment take?
Usually 30 to 60 minutes, depending on how many areas are treated.
Is filler only for older patients?
No. Many patients in their 20s and 30s come for lip enhancement, facial balancing or subtle contouring.
How should I prepare?
Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medicines such as aspirin and ibuprofen beforehand where your doctor allows. You will get personal instructions at your consultation.
Can I combine filler with other treatments?
Yes. Filler is often paired with Botox® or laser treatments for a more complete result.
